Seeing another perspective
Values conflicts, emotional reactions to people and events, and a saboteur or inner critic perspectives are all part of life. In our previous reflection, we intentionally spend time increasing awareness of these what we might call potentially limiting perspectives. This is important because the best leaders and team members develop the skills to recognize one of these perfectly human perspectives and, if necessary, change their actions or reaction.
In this reflection, you will be asked to consider the other perspective:
- How to recognize and detach emotionally from values conflicts or other unmet expectations
- Developing a foundation of confidence based on past experiences
- Tips for becoming comfortable with change
